Explanation

Your Account section provides you with the ability to make changes to your personal information and how you log in. For example, you may make changes to your address, telephone number, password and 2-factor authentication.

Instructions

To change your password, simply provide your current password and a new password and click the Save Changes button. You may update other aspects of your account details like your name, address and telephone number.

Profit Navigator users have the option of enabling 2-factor authentication through the Google Authenticator App. When you first login you will be prompted to enter your 2-factor code which is generated every 30s by Google Authenticator. If you have disabled 2-factor authentication you can use this page to re-enable it or, if it's enabled you can disable 2-factor authentication here as well. Enabling 2-factor authentication will direct you to download the Google Authenticator app, present you with a one-time QR code and require that you provide verification using the code generated from the app to complete the 2-factor setup. At any time, you may remove 2-factor authentication.

For Advanced Learners

Highly Privileged Accounts

We recommend using 2-factor authentication for any account that has high privileges, those who have the ability to affect changes to other users are especially encouraged to use 2-factor authentication. This will help to guarantee that access is restricted to the specific individual in the event your password is guessed by bad actors.

Updating your Email address

If you wish to update your email address, you will be required to logout once completed and login once more. Because changes are immediate, you may encounter error messages immediately after updating your email address. For safety, it is best to have someone on your team change your email address for you.
