Explanation
Much like the Opportunities/Challenges Planning ⟨What-If⟩ planning section, Strategic Planning Momentum Adjustments allows you to plan for future opportunities and challenges. In fact, the Strategic Planning Momentum Adjustments section uses the same system as the Opportunities/Challenges Planning ⟨What-If⟩, so adjustments you add here will be available in your Budget Planning as those years are reached.
Instructions
The primary difference between this area and the Opportunities/Challenges Planning ⟨What-If⟩ section is that you are presented with 4 key entries sections for the following 4 years. To make changes to the current year, use the Opportunities/Challenges Planning ⟨What-If⟩ section.
Another change you will see is that you will not be asked to add the event to your budget. Events added here will only affect your strategic planning budget and can not be activated until we are in the year for which they are set. For example, if you have an SPMA assigned for 2 years from now, this will affect the strategic planning budget for 2 years from now but when that year arrives; you will have to activate that SPMA by assigning the event to your budget. See the Opportunities/Challenges Planning ⟨What-If⟩ section for more details on how to create event entries.
