The Planning tool for your Profit Navigator account is designed to help you gain control and understanding of the financial aspects of your business. In this section, we provide tools to make the accounting process easy to understand. Specifically the Planning tool will pinpoint those aspects of your accounting that contribute most to your business's profitability: Sales, Cost of Goods (COGs), Total Expenses, Gross Profit, and Net Profit. The outcome of the Planning section is an annualized budget. The What If function, located as the fifth option under this heading, allows you to keep your budget continuously updated.

The planning section and the budget tool will help you to obtain a complete understanding of your income and expenses. Our budgeting tool uses sophisticated algorithms to provide an easy use mechanism for predicting performance based on your business’s performance history. The more historical data you provide, the more accurate and powerful our budget planning solution will be. Filling in the historical data is crucial in providing you with actionable and relevant business analytics.
